So many of our men and women in the military are far away from their loved ones this Christmas season.
ARM USA will be sending out a bunch of Christmas cards to men and women serving overseas in our Armes Forces, along with some home-baked cookies and goodies for them to enjoy. I've already got a huge stack of Christmas cards, ready to go. And we'll be spending a couple of days baking dozens and dozens of cookies and breads and other goodies. All I need now are the addresses of service men and women to send them to. While I have a couple, I am looking for more. If you know the address of a service member who could use a Christmas card this season, please email the address to firstname.lastname@example.org
Also, if you are able to contribute, either by donating a few dollars to help with shipping or by dropping off Christmas candy or store-bought cookies, beef jerky, etc. or Christmas cards with a special greeting for our soldiers, it would be greatly appreciated by the troops!! (Please bring any food items in UNOPENED packages.) If you are out Christmas shopping some time this week, won't you pick up an extra box of chocolate for a soldier?
Time is running short, however! If you are able to help us out with this project, please bring your contribution to ARM USA as soon as possible. I am working on getting all the addresses and getting boxes ready for shipping no later than Thursday the 15th. Packages should be shipped out via Priority mail so they arrive before Christmas.
We are looking forward to putting smiles on a lot of men and women's
faces this year - since they are so far from their homes and families
- we want to make sure it is a memorable holiday for them. We
really hope you can help, and I PROMISE you will never regret it!!! If
you are able to send a donation, please let us know by emailing Jolynne
at email@example.com. Thank
In today's new era of technology, it is becoming more "simple" to keep in touch with your family, friends and customers. Of course that is no guarantee, by any means, that it will be faster, or that you won't spend half of your waking hours in front of your computer! Nevertheless, we have decided to utilize an email system that should ultimately make it easier for us to keep you informed of updates and special offers or events that may arise.
In the past, I have sent out individual emails to 20-30 people at a time, to avoid my emails getting bounced back, through Outlook. First the email message had to be composed, and THEN I had to send it to the recipients. Needless to say, with a database of nearly 4500 subscribers, it took an awful long time just to send out ONE email.
So, very soon, you will be receiving emails with the newsletter in our new format. I would urge you at this time to PLEASE take a moment to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe list of email addresses, to ensure that you continue to receive our newsletter and emails. Otherwise, correspondence we send to you may end up in your Junk or Bulk Mail Folder.
I would also like to remind you that you may unsubscribe from our mailing list at ANY TIME. You may either do that now, by replying to this email and type "REMOVE" in the subject line. Or you may do so at any time in the future by clicking the "Safe Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email, once we start sending them out in the new format.
If you like what you read and feel that others would benefit from our newsletters, the emails will also include a link whereby you can quickly forward the message to your colleagues.
Thank you for your support!!!
