I hate to beat a dead horse, but it's actually BULL, and THIS BULL IS FAR FROM DEAD!! We need your help still on several bills that are being heard THIS Week!! Please contact as many legislators as possible and voice your opposition.

Note, when writing, always put in BOLD CAPS at the top of your letters VOTE NO on ABXXXX (etc.) to make sure the point gets noticed. They don't always read the whole thing right away, but are taking talleys because they are very busy.

AB 50 - 50 caliber ban - hearing Thursday, August 12

AB-50 will be heard this Thursday in the CA Senate Appropriations Committee - this bill is extremely urgent, as this is the last place it goes before going to Schwarzeneger for signature - and it will BAN 50 CALIBERS for no GOOD REASON. The most effective measure at this point would be to fax a letter to each of their offices. At the very least, please try to make a few phone calls. Sorry for the short notice, but we are doing the best we can! We would really appreciate everyone's help in seeing this bill defeated again!! Please fax or call!



SB 1152 - requires fingerprint and paper trail every time you buy ammo and will be heard ANY TIME now!

SB 1733 - would outlaw guns shows at the Cow Palace - and soon YOUR favorite gun show - will be heard ANY TIME!

SB 1140 - Would make it a crime if a minor gains access to your firearms - could be heard ANY TIME!

WE KNOW THIS IS HARD WORK, BUT IT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE WORK THOSE GUYS DID TO GET OUR CONSTITUTION WRITTEN AND SIGNED. YOU WON'T DIE IF YOU SEND OUT A FEW LETTERS - BUT MANY OF THEM SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES, LIBERTY AND THEIR PROPERTY SO THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS COULD BE FREE. ARE YOU WILLING TO HELP?
